- 1 Rinse the Bengal gram, dal (15 g, from the pack) under cold water until it runs clear.
- 2 Soaking time for this pulse is not recorded yet — cook it the way you would at home until it is.
- 3 Add 279 ml water.
- 4 Cook for 15 minutes until soft.
- 5 Stir in the whole Dal Panchratna pouch (12 g) and simmer so the spices open up.
